There are three german guides out for this months colorweave festival. Find them here, here and here. Unfortunately i could not find any guide in English, so please drop a line if you know of one.
Keruptis has added some nice tips in this thread in the US-Forum though:
Tips for the water element game.
* Stand at the edge of the circle of stones, zoom all the way out so you can see the whole circle (if your resolution allows it)
* turn off click to move in controls
* lead the orbs with your cursor when trying to target
* target first, then click your hot key (in case the needed color changes as you are targetting)
* the more people that play the minigame at once, the more orbs that will spawn (only 3 at a time if solo)
* use a trackball mouse 
So far my highest score was 85 
Tips for the weaving machine game.
First i will discuss how to deal with the error messages that are part of the demand
“message error” you want to click on the component that matches the color on the ground underneath the weaving machine and ignore the actual text demand ( if the color is green you want scissors, red you want shuttles, blue you want thread)
“matrix error” you want to go by the demand text and ignore the color on the ground
“message and matrix error” here you want to choose the component that doesnt match the demand text or the color on the ground (color is red and demand says scissors, what you really want is the thread)
On to the general tips
* stand in front of the middle component, and use a mount if you have one.
* the first 3 demands are always the same shuttles-thread-scissors.
* Getting a length of 21 is the only way to recieve goddess material, length 17-20 gets 5 functional, 14-16 gets you 3 functional…. havnt tested with any lower lengths
Can someone please post saying how they obtained the pet crystal, like which item did you try to have the npc craft.
so far from turning in 10 functional i have got

* 10 water element (3 different times)
* 15 water element
* superior xp charm
from turning in 2 goddess i have recieved
* superior talent charm (2 different times)
turning in 20 functional
* star jewel (faith)
* 10 water element
turning in 6 goddess
* 10 water element 
along with about 10 successfully crafted boots 
…… yes i used all my transport runes lol
